I'm absolutely thrilled to announce that I'm now offering bespoke micro setting services at my independent jewellery studio in Farnham. This intricate technique has been a passion of mine for years, and I'm excited to share it with you.

My Micro Setting Adventure

After years of honing my craft, I've finally mastered what I consider to be one of the most demanding techniques in fine jewellery—micro setting. I spend hours placing extremely small gemstones—often less than 1mm in diameter—in precise, close formations to create a continuous sparkle effect that truly takes my breath away. Each tiny stone is meticulously placed into individually drilled holes and secured with minuscule prongs that are barely visible to the naked eye.

The journey to perfecting this skill hasn't been easy. I work with specialised microscopes and precision tools that require exceptional vision and incredibly steady hands. There's a meditative quality to placing hundreds of tiny stones, each requiring perfect alignment and secure setting.
